Gan Thian Bo was born in Purbolinggo like most of his 72 cousins. He worked in the shop "Toko Gan" owned by his relatives.
He was married with Theng Luis Nio from Magelang, with whom he was matched by their parents.
He loved horses very much and owned an own horse (photo). Two weeks after he died in a very young age, his horse also died.
Since my grandfather Gan Koen Beng was only three years old, he didn't remember his father Gan Thian Bo.
