Welcome to the Gan family homepage!
This is about the Gan family which, originally coming from the village Qishan, near Yong Chun in Fujian Province, settled down in Purbalingga (Central Java). According to the history the first ancestor who came to Indonesia was Gan Hwan with his son Gan Tjioe who first arrived in Pekalongan.
I am now trying to trace our family with the help of other Gan family members. Therefore, we have opened up a mailing list.

We have started to write a book about the Gan family, which is still at the beginning. Anybody who is willing to help is welcome. Please download the family tree as doc file and correct or add as much as you can and please send it back to me.
We are also collecting photos from older up to the younger generations. If you have any, please send them to me.
